FAQs

What is hospice?

Hospice care focuses on improving the comfort and quality of life for pets as they move into the final stages of their lives. This can mean assisting with things such as nutrition, hydration, and pain management, as well as looking at ways to modify their living space to better support them as they age.

How does in-home euthanasia work?

We will start with a phone conversation so that I may learn about your pet and to schedule a time that works best for me to visit you and your pet at your home. If we decide that euthanasia is best, I will administer medications that will help your pet fall into a very deep sleep. Once your pet is comfortably sleeping and is ready, I will administer a medication that will peacefully end their life.

Do you offer cremation services?

Yes, I can transport your beloved pet to a dedicated pet crematorium where he or she can be cremated. You will have the option to receive their cremains in a lovely urn, or you may have them cremated with other cats and dogs and their ashes spread without being returned to you.

I currently only provide services for cats and dogs.
